Operation Rising Spirit - Duffy’s
Operation Rising Spirit at Duffy’s was a fabulous success tonight! Historical Society of Forest Parks hared the contributions of our village and our local service members 20-24 community members wrote 91 holiday cards to Illinois veterans in state care homes, including homemade cards — with the help from @adamihasegawa and @divebarletterwriters. Thank you to everyone who joined us tonight, especially my colleagues Commissioners Maria Maxham and Jessica Voogd. Thank you also to Jimmy’s Place for fabulous pizza and great service.
