Flag Pole Dedication

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Flag Pole Dedication ! Our Forest Park Boy Scout Troop 107 were inspiring as they performed a flag raising ceremony and led us in the pledge of allegiance.

This event was a time to honor our Forest Park veterans, and to thank our community for coming together to support the cost to install the flag pole. The new flag pole enables our village to honor our service members and first responders statewide according to the Illinois Flag Act. It also provides enough room for us to display flags that honor community organizations and flags that represent communities that are a vibrant part of our creative, diverse and historic village.
