Community Center Fund Raiser

Thanks a million to everyone who joined the celebration at Bobby's Eastside last weekend for my birthday and "cancerversary." It was the greatest gift ever to raise $600 for the Howard Mohr Community Center, and I will round it up to $1000.

We enjoyed the Side Saddle Sisters music, Jimmy’s Place pizza, and cake from the Forest Park Bakery. If you were there in person or spirit, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You supported the heart of our village - our Community Center staff and volunteers who serve our senior citizens, our children and families, and folks in our community who require safety net services. This team provides expert advice and support and serves from their hearts. They stretch a dollar for a thousand miles for the urgent and immediate daily needs of the folks they help. IYKYK.
