Celebration of Women Leaders 2025

What an amazing night, Celebrating Women's Leadership in Forest Park @ Bobby’s Eastside for Sarah's Inn! While the weather hampered our turnout, our spirits were high, and Fire Chief Lindsey Hankus inspired all of us with her amazing remarks about her participation in the Iron Man competitions and how she knows that nothing is impossible!

Sarah's Inn, like other federal grant-driven non-profits, is vulnerable to the changes at the federal level. Every dollar we raise is important to ensuring that their work continues. You can still donate to Sarah's Inn and tell them it is for this event.

We had so many women-owned businesses, women leaders, and women volunteers come out—and a lot of men who support women—thank you! Please also forgive me!! I forgot to shout out to Vicki Scaman Mayor of Oak Park, who attended and brought folks to support Sarah's Inn—all you Oak Parkers who were there! She deserves celebrating for the work she does in our communities.

Special thanks to our sponsors and supporters who made this event possible - Bobby's Eastside, Commissioner Michelle Melin-Rogovin
