Traffic Trivia and Pledge at Garage Galleries

In recognition of Traffic Safety Month, an engaging event was successfully hosted, bringing together education, community involvement, and creativity. Organized by Commissioner Michelle Melin-Rogovin, the event took place at the popular Garage Galleries in Forest Park.

This stop on Garage Galleries included a Traffic Trivia game, designed to raise awareness about road safety. Participants won a reflective button or clip of flashing light. These prizes not only served as reminders of the importance of visibility during nighttime activities but also promoted the event's central message of traffic safety.

Taking the initiative a step further, event participants were encouraged to sign the traffic pledge, committing to upholding safe and responsible driving practices. As a reward for this commitment, signatories were entered into a drawing for Amazon gift cards, providing a motivating incentive to prioritize road safety.

Special thanks to Lauren Burjan for hosting Commissioner Michelle Melin-Rogovin.

Through the interactive Traffic Trivia game, the distribution of reflective buttons, and the traffic pledge initiative, attendees were empowered to become advocates of responsible road behaviors. Set against the backdrop of Garage Galleries, this event not only celebrated creativity but also fostered a safer road environment for everyone.
