Thank you so much Forest Park! It’s been an amazing journey and it’s only just beginning! Thank you to everyone who has supported me during our campaign our fabulous volunteers— and the residents who opened their hearts and homes to host coffees to get to know me during the election campaign. Thank you to our outstanding Forest Park Firefighters Local 2753 for their endorsement and encouragement for my efforts to improve Forest Park. Thank you to everyone who attended forums and participated by watching videos and opening their doors when we knocked. Thanks to my friends for being there to march in the parade and turn out for events.

Thank you to my commissioner candidate colleagues who were all very collegial and supportive as we worked to ensure that this was a great opportunity to educate and engage voters; Joe Landgrebe for Forest Park Commissioner and Ryan Russ for Forest Park Commissioner. I look forward to working with Commissioner Maria Maxham, Jessica Voogd for Forest Park and Ryan Nero - Forest Park Commissioner as a team to serve Forest Park in the next four years.

Thank you to the women and LGBTQ/ nonbinary leaders of Forest Park and Proviso, for sharing your experience with me and helping me tap my authentic self. Thank you to Alexis Ellers who helped me every step of the way and made every visual idea I had possible.

Thanks to my husband Mark Rogovin. His legacy of grassroots activism and belief that anyone can make a difference in their community is what motivates me to serve.

My goal was to be a bridge builder and a connector during the campaign and to show how my skills and abilities could help Forest Park. I learned a lot, met many new people and emerged a better person and more prepared for this role. I enjoyed hearing from residents, businesses, agencies and community leaders and I’m ready to get to work.
